You shouldn't put the .dos driver in your config.sys file with wfw 3.11.
Put it where the real mode drivers to in system.ini (the line above
LoadRMDrivers).  And set LoadRMDrivers to Yes.

Now when you do NET START from your AUTOEXEC.BAT, it will read the
system.ini and load the .dos device driver for you.

I am trying to use Dan Lanciani NFSClient with the WFWTCP stack and get
an error-message concerning the RPC protocol.
Dan tells me this is an configuration problem with MS TCP.

Can someone post a correct configuration (config.sys, autoexec.bat,
protocol.ini, tcputils.ini) or send it to me ?

I'm having a bit of difficulty mailing you.  So, sorry to all those
who download this article.  It's just for Alain.  As indicated by
the title.  It's not long.  That was just to discourage you chaps
with serial links from downloading it, and then bellyaching about
people who waste your phone bills ...

I'm embarassed to say that I didn't notice that your original question
related to version 2.2  The version I downloaded from demon is version
1.4.  I haven't got the URL for it, but there are _lots_ of copies
known to src.doc.ic.ac.uk, which is the archie server from which I
found it.

BTW, your copy of WinVN isn't including a signature block with your
mail.
